The CJ Kids Inc. Story

“For over 18 years, I’ve been passionate about working with children and adolescents with special needs. My journey began with my nephew, Frankie, Carolyn’s son, who is autistic. As a family, we dedicated much of our time to supporting him, and that experience sparked my lifelong commitment to helping others.

As a physical therapist, I am honored to lead a dedicated team of professionals and volunteers, all focused on improving the lives of over 40 riders each week, many of whom face physical and developmental challenges.

In founding CJ Kids Inc. (named after my late sister Carolyn Joan), a not-for-profit organization, I set out to deliver this unique form of therapy through equine movement, which has proven to be transformative for the children we serve.

Through this therapy, I’ve seen firsthand how it helps children gain greater independence, build determination, and improve their overall quality of life. It is a privilege to lead such a passionate team and to witness the incredible transformations we help make possible, empowering these children to reach their full potential.”
